We recently sent out a survey to our customers and got some great feedback on how we can improve the GoWP service. If you’ve never done this with your own customers, I highly recommend it. We learned so much.
Here are a few highlights:
- More than half of our customers update their website themselves on a regular basis
- Most spend an hour or more each month making updates
- Over 80% want to learn more about WordPress
Before sending the survey, we had no idea where things would go. Based on the results and a few follow-up conversations, we got the message loud and clear…our customers want WordPress training in order to save them time and money.
We’re a WordPress support company which means we usually spend our time doing tasks for customers, which we love, but empowering them through training can provide a ton of value. We’ll be testing different training formats over the next few months and moving forward, WordPress training will be a core part of what we’re doing here at GoWP.
In August, we’re offering two free webinars and we’ve opened up registration to the public. Whether you already have a WordPress website or you’re looking to create one, I think you’ll find the sessions valuable.
Getting Started with WordPress, 8/13 will cover the basics including an overview of the WordPress Admin Panel.
Using WordPress Plugins, 8/20 will demonstrate how to research, install and configure popular plugins including those most often used by our customers.
